If you would like to book a one off, practical, hands on, and fun workshops for your child, either on their own, or with siblings or friends - or as a party idea, then please do get in touch!
Workshops can be bespoke 1:1 classes or for small groups of up to a maximum of 5 students per class and will include an introduction to using a sewing macine and practising different machine skills, before making something fabulous and creative to take away.

The after-school sewing classes will run weekly in blocks of six sessions and are available for children and teenagers ( ages 10+, ).
These classes are perfect for:
*younger children wanting to learn to sew;
*GCSE Textiles students wanting to improve their textiles and sewing skills
*Duke of Edinburgh students looking for a new skill
Groups are organised by age and to some extent experience (though please note no experience is necessary to start!) Current classes are grouped for ages 10-13 years or 13-18 years, with the latter aimed to cover many of the skills that would support GCSE textiles or to develop a new skill for DofE. Please note, however, that this class is open to everyone in the age group, regardless of whether they are doing GCSE textiles or Duke of Edinburgh.
Class sizes will be kept small, with no more than 5 children attending each class, so that I can work closely with them.
Lessons will teach progressive skills each week.
The course will cover operating a sewing machine safely, pattern making, cutting fabrics and patterns safely, and will give students an introduction to a number of sewing techniques and skills. Plus lots of fabulous projects will be made along the way.
